Special Repeat Breeding

    Pictured up top are two dogs we will be breeding for the third time in the winter of 2008.  Pictured below Lefty and RT is Sequel, one of the pups out of the first breeding.

    In over twenty years of breeding German Shorthaired Pointers we have done repeat breedings only twice before this planned litter.  I've held to the idea that one breeds to move forward with the program and repeating a breeding is moving laterally, not forward.  However, this breeding is special in every sense of the word and bears repeating one more time.  I've looked at a lot of GSP's over my 32 year career with this breed and never seen anything as fine as this breeding.  These now young dogs from the first breeding have it all.  Their style on point is incredible, their bidability in second to none, their confirmation (Sequel OFA excellent) is ideal in every sense and their companionship is that of a loving dog who is most comfortable when with people, any people.

    Lefty is a multiple time field champion and Sequel is currently being campaigned in AKC Master Hunt Test's.

"Our Shorthair's name is Hank.  We call him Handsome Hank because he is so good looking and put together very well.  He sits so poised and really holds himself up as if to say he knows he is good looking.  As far as the bird dog portion he is a great bird dog.  I have owned and trained approximately 10 dogs from pups and Hank has been the easiest to train and is on the way to being the best dog I have owned.  He has become a family member and lives in the house.

I mainly hunt pheasant and a few Huns.  He has a good nose and knows how to use it.  The thing is that Hank is a thinker.  He has learned the tricks quickly and is always improving.

The details

    These pups will be priced at $1000.00 and I will only do the breeding if I have at least six interested parties.  I will not be requiring a deposit on this litter until September 2008.  Until then I'm simply taking names of interested parties and will contact these parties again in September to see if they are still interested.  As of this date (25 March 2008) there are six people on the list.

    These dogs are the best of the best.  Owners call them a 'once in a life time dog', and I call this a once in a life time breeding pair.  There are many good pups, there are a few excellent ones, then there is a truly unique combination like Lefty X RT.  Don't miss this opportunity to own the very best.
